Sarah (Sally) Hardison JORDAN is my fourth great aunt; she is the daughter of my fifth great grandparents Solomon I. and Christiana (SIMONTON) JORDAN. Sally was born to Solomon I. and Christiana (SIMONTON) JORDAN, 9 July 1792 in Cape Elizabeth, Maine; she is the youngest of 11 children.[1]   Sally married Eli COLBY, Jr. in 1810 in Ellsworth, Maine.[2]  Eli and Sally had 10 children:  Aurelia, Sarah Alexander, Eli, Samuel Alexander, Martha Elmira, Charlotte Pond, Charlotte Christiana, William Hazen, Aaron Luther and Edmund Harvey.  All but one child married and had at minimum twenty-four grandchildren.  Sally was enumerated in six censuses in Hancock County, Maine.[3]  Sally died 20 July 1880 in Waltham, Maine; she is buried at Hillside Cemetery in Waltham, Maine.
