Ada Louise BARSHAW is my first cousin three times removed; we are related through her grandparents John J and Leanore Rose (PERRY) YOUNG. Ada was born 17 August 1892 in Munger, Michigan to Archibald Rodney and Lucy Ellen (YOUNG) BARSHAW, the fifth of their six children. Ada was enumerated with her parents in the 1910 census in Twin Bridges, Montana. Ada married Adolph Monroe STEWART in June of 1914 in Twin Bridges, Montana. They had four children: Herbert Monroe, Wilma L., Lyle I. and Archie W. Ada was enumerated with her husband and children in the 1920 census taken in Jefferson, Montana. She was enumerated in the 1930 and 1940 censuses in Pe Ell, Washington, listed with various family members, even sister-in-law Bessie (KEARN)BARSHAW. Between the time her husband Adolph died in 1946 and her death she must have married again, as her last name at death was BROOKS, I cannot find a marriage record at this time, but will still keep looking. Ada received her Social Security number in 1951 in Washington State. Ada died in 6 June 1982 in Spokane, Washington. She is buried at the Claquato Cemetery in Chehalis, Washington.
