Solomon I. Jordan

Solomon I. JORDAN is my fifth great grandfather; he was born 12 September 1744 in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, the son of Nathaniel and Dorothy (HILL) JORDAN.[1]  He married, 3 December 1767 in Cape Elizabeth, Christiana SIMONTON.[2]  16 May 1775 he enlisted in Captain Samuel Dunn’s Company, Colonel Edmund Phinney’s 31st regiment [Massachusetts].[3]  He served 56 days.  He died about 18 June 1800 in Trenton, Maine.  He was a farmer.
