William B. JELLISON is my third great grand uncle; we are related through his parents, Joseph H and Abigail (JORDAN) JELLISON. He was born 17 April 1815 in Waltham, Maine, the fourth of twelve children. William married his second cousin Sybil H. JORDAN, related through my sixth great grandparents Nathaniel and Dorothy (HILL) JORDAN, they married 14 September 1837 in Waltham, Maine by Rev. Allen Barrows. William and Sybil had four children: Nathan J., Sarah A., Albion S., and Christiana E. He was appointed postmaster for North Ellsworth, 2 March 1838. William and his family were enumerated in the 1850 and 1860 censuses taken in Waltham. William died 27 April 1866 in Ellsworth, Maine, he is buried at Hillside Cemetery in Waltham.
