Ebenezer Jordan

Ebenezer JORDAN is my first cousin six times removed; we are related through his grandparents, my great grandparents Nathaniel and Dorothy (HILL) JORDAN.  He was one of eight children born to Captain Joshua and Catherine (JORDAN) JORDAN, 9 February 1778 in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.[1]  1808 he was deeded 35 acres of land from his father.[2]  He was joined in matrimony by Rev. Benjamin Sawyer to Mary W. JORDAN 15 September 1810 in Cape Elizabeth, they were related through four different relatives, making them second cousins once removed, second cousin, third cousins once removed and fourth cousins.[3]  Ebenezer drowned before 1814, while trying to ford the channel between Richmond’s Island and the mainland.[4]
