Augusta A. Marks

Augusta A. MARKS is my first cousin 5 times removed; we are related through her grandparents, my fifth great grandparents William and Margaret (HANEY) WESCOTT.  Augusta is the daughter of Stephen Edward and Joanna (WESCOTT) MARKS, she was born in 1835 in Blue Hill, Maine.  She was enumerated in the 1850 census with her parents taken in Penobscot, Maine.[1]  She married William Henry CHAMBERLAIN 17 September 1858 in Penobscot, Maine.[2]  At this time it looks as if there were no children.  William and Augusta were enumerated in the 1880 census taken in Springfield, Massachusetts.[3]  Augusta died 6 Jun 1904 of heart disease, just 5 months after her husband, in Springfield; she is buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Springfield, Massachusetts.[4]
