George VAUGHAN is my seventh great grand uncle related through his parents my eighth great grandparents Captain Joseph and Joanna (THOMAS) VAUGHAN. George is the third child of eleven born; he was born 3 October 1683 in Middleborough, Massachusetts.[1] He married first Rebecca SAMPSON about 1715 in Middleborough.[2] George and Rebecca had at least two children: Thankful and Rebecca. George married second, Faithful PACKARD 13 August 1719 in Bridgewater, New Hampshire.[3] George and Faithful had five children: Nathan, Josiah, Peter, Thomas and Jabez. George died on or about 11 August 1766 in Middleborough, Massachusetts. He is buried at the Cemetery at the Green in Middleborough.[4]
