David Hasty

David HASTY is my first cousin six times removed, we are related through his grandparents my sixth great grandparents.  He is the youngest of four children born to Robert and Hannah (JORDAN) HASTY.  David was born in 1758.[1]  He served in the Revolutionary War.[2]  He married Susanna JORDAN 18 October 1781 in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, intentions filed 7 July 1781 in Cape Elizabeth.[3]  She is my third cousin five times removed, related through second great grandparents my seventh great grandparents Dominicus and Hannah (TRISTRAM) JORDAN.  Susanna and David were second cousins related through Dominicus and Hannah (TRISTRAM) JORDAN.  They had eight children:  Elizabeth (Betsey), Benjamin, Dominicus, Robert, Susanna, Walter, David and Sewall.  David and family were enumerated in the 1790, 1800, 1810, 1820 and 1830 censuses taken in Limington, Maine.[4]  David died 8 October 1836 in Jackson, Maine.[5]  He is buried in the Stiles Cemetery in Jackson.[6]
