Leanore Rose Perry

Leanore Rose PERRY is my third great grandmother.  She is a child of Alexis and Marie Mary (LABELLE) PARENT.  She was born 7 August 1836 in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.  She married John J. YOUNG about 1855 in New York. I believe they were married in Franklin County, New York, that is where both of them lived at that time, but no records of their marriage have been found at this time.  John and Rose had ten children:  Mary Lee, Eli, Joseph, Ida, Lucy Ellen, William, Arthur H., John, Ada Catherine, and a stillborn daughter.  Rose was counted in the1850 census taken in Bangor, New York, the 1860 taken in Lawrence, New York, the 1870 census taken in Portsmouth, Michigan and the 1880 census taken in Bay City, Michigan.[1]  Rose died due to complications of childbirth 22 October 1881 in Bay City.[2]  She is buried in the St. Patrick Cemetery in Bay City.[3]
