Harriette THOMPSON

Harriette THOMPSON is my fifth cousin four times removed, we are related through Reverend Robert and Sarah (WINTER) JORDAN.  She worked as a teacher at a common school in Little River Village (Lisbon), Androscoggin, Maine in 1860.[1]  She was enumerated with her parents in the 1850 and 1860 censuses taken in Lisbon, Androscoggin, Maine.[2]  She was enumerated with her husband Joseph T. HEALEY in Fall River, Bristol, Massachusetts in 1870 and 1880.[3]  She and her husband lived at 68 Globe Street and 217 Globe Street in Fall River, Bristol, Massachusetts.[4]  Joseph was a rather prominent man in the Fall River area.  He worked as a treasurer for the Osborn Mill, as a police commissioner and treasurer of both the Citizen’s Savings Bank and the Pocasset National Bank.[5]

Harriette THOMPSON was born 18 December 1832 in Bowdoin, Sagadahoc, Maine.[6]  She was the daughter of Cornelius and Abigail (SLYVESTER) THOMPSON.  She died 19 July 1899 of carcinoma in Fall River, Bristol, Massachusetts at her home 217 Glove Street.[7]  She was interred at Oak Grove Cemetery in Fall River, Bristol, Massachusetts.[8]  Harriette married Joseph T. HEALEY 26 April 1828 in Lisbon, Androscoggin, Maine.[9]  Joseph was born 27 January 1828 in Fall River, Bristol, Massachusetts, though some records state he was born in Rhode Island.[10]  He was the son of David and Meribah (HATHAWAY) HEALEY.  He died 21 January 1901 in Fall River, Bristol, Massachusetts at his home 217 Globe Street.[11]  He is interred at Oak Grove Cemetery in Fall River, Bristol, Massachusetts.[12]  There were no children from this marriage.
