  • Noah Merrill JORDAN was born 17 August 1722 in Kittery, York, Maine[2]; son of Samuel and Mary M. (JORDAN) JORDAN; husband of Sarah MORRILL.
  • Moses LOWELL was born 17 August 1726[3]; son of John and Mary (DAVIS) LOWELL; husband of Sarah BRADBURY.
  • Darius CHIPMAN was born 17 August 1756 in Salisbury, Litchfield, Connecticut[4]; son of Samuel and Hannah (AUSTIN) CHIPMAN; husband of Desire BRIGGS, Lydia DICKINSON, Hannah MEAD.
  • Ebenezer Winter CALEF was born 17 August 1760 in Milton, Norfolk, Massachusetts[5]; son of Joseph C. and Mehitable C. (MILLER) CALEF; husband of Sarah Gardner GIBSON.
  • Sarah CHIPMAN was born 17 August 1773[6]; daughter of Amos and Sarah (BOARDMAN) CHIPMAN; wife of Samuel WILCOX.
  • Joseph Hopkins MARKS was born 17 August 1775 in Castine, Hancock, Maine[7]; son of William and Mary (HOPKINS) MARKS; husband of Hannah DOUGLAS.
  • Sherman JOHNSON was born 17 August 1776 in Southborough, Worcester, Massachusetts[8]; son of John and Persis (SHERMAN) JOHNSON; died 20 May 1806.
  • Snell WINGATE was born 17 August 1779 in Buxton, York, Maine[9]; son of Snell and Margaret (EMERY) WINGATE; died 22 August 1779.
  • Nahum JELLISON was born 17 August 1783 in Berwick, York, Maine[10]; son of George and Elizabeth (WALDIN) JELLISON; husband of Abigail Tayler CARPENTER.
  • Richard LOWELL was born 17 August 1784 in Saco, York, Maine[11]; son of Samuel and Charity (BERRY) LOWELL; husband of Elizabeth WILSON.
  • Else Marie Christine HILLEN was born 17 August 1791 in Rosenhagen, Neidersachen, Prussia[12]; daughter of Ernst Heinrich and A. Margarette Elisabeth (NUERGEN) HILLEN; wife of Johann Friedrich Wilhelm HIRSCH; she is my third great grandmother.
  • Sarah JORDAN was born 17 August 1800 in Monroe, Waldo, Maine[13]; daughter of James Jr. and Hannah (ROBERTS) JORDAN; wife of Thomas CUNNINGHAM.
