Alexander Jellison

Alexander JELLISON is my first cousin eight times removed; we are related through his grandparents, my eighth grandparents Nicholas and Barbara (GREENE) JELLISON.  Alexander is the son of Joseph and Sarah (GRAY) JELLISON.  He was baptized at the First Church of Berwick 20 Jun 1723 in Berwick, Maine.[1]  He married Margaret NASON 31 August 1749 in Berwick, they had fifteen children:  George, James, Margaret, Eunice, Stephen, Nathaniel, David, Nancy, Alexander Jr., Olive, John, Joseph, Lydia, Benjamin and Sally.[2]  Alexander died before 13 Jun 1781 in South Berwick, Maine, he died intestate, and his probate was finalized 13 June 1782 in Berwick.[3]

I’ve noticed tracing the Jellison family that there are many variations of the name used commonly:  Jellison, Jellerson, Gillison, Gellison, and many more.  Good luck and share what you have learned I’d love to hear it.
