Benjamin Howard

Benjamin HOWARD is my sixth great uncle, son of my seventh great grandparents; Edward and Susannah (MITCHELL) HOWARD.  Benjamin is the oldest of nine children, born 1734 in Kittery, Maine, baptized at Kittery Point Church 26 May 1734.[1]  He Married Margaret MITCHELL in 1756, they had nine children: John, Benjamin H. Jr., Margaret, Samuel, Susannah, Edward A., Catherine, George, and Martha.  He lived in Castine, Maine for a short time.  He lived in Brooksville, Maine and owned two lots; he was a signer on a petition to the government and otherwise was out of most records.[2] He died 2 September 1819 in Brooksville, Maine; he is buried in the Bell Family Cemetery in Cape Rosier, Maine.[3]
